the martin wedding

Katie & Andrew got hitched!

This wedding was in one of the most beautiful locations that I have ever seen, Skelly Lodge in Catoosa. The leaves on the trees were the perfect picture of fall and the weather was warm and sunny. Katie & Andrew, we were so honored to be able to photograph your beautiful wedding and we wish you such happiness in your marriage. I hope that you get a chance to hop on a computer to see these while you are enjoying your honeymoon in Europe.

Katie's something blue.

It looks as if these little men are in a serious discussion about their shoes.

Katie has the most stunning eyes.

Last moments as a Miss.

Just a little hug during the ceremony. How cute!

The rad guest book.......Hey, who took those photos?

The decor of this wedding was my favorite. Everyone who knows me can tell you that I LOVE this shade of green! (Can you tell by our logo?)

There was such attention to detail and I don't know how in the world she did it but Katie made all of these gorgeous oragami birds. They were everywhere!

This was the first time I have ever seen a fork used in a cake cutting. The crowd was begging Andrew to be mean but.....well see for yourself.

I think that this photo is so sweet. My favorite part of my job is witnessing the beauty in relationships. This image just says it all....."My baby girl is all grown up and married. Such pride and joy mixed with the sadness of letting her go."

There were ladybugs everywhere! I mean EVERYWHERE! I have never seen anything like it.

my kids

When we brought Keegan home from the hospital we were very curious as to how our dog Jezzi would react. She has been our only baby for 2 years. Well, we were pleasantly surprised at how much Jezzi loves Keegs.

One of the first times that he cried at home Jezzi came up and licked his foot and just layed her head right by him as if she was genuinely concerned about why he was crying. I must say, it was stinking cute.

Now anytime we go anywhere with the baby and come back home, Jezzi is the first to welcome him back with a kiss on the cheek.

the rainwater family

Yet again I got to photograph another amazing baby boy. Meet the Rainwater family: Drew, Lindsey and their 4 month old Cade. I was so excited to do this downtown family session because it had been a while since I did my last family downtown. When they got out of the car I knew we had picked the perfect spot for them with their designer jeans and rad shoes.

Thanks guys for being patient with Cade and I for this session when he seemed to want nothing more than to Not get his picture taken. After looking through all the images, I must say we ended up with some great shots of your beautiful family. I hope you enjoy them!

Look at these two hotties. No wonder their baby is so cute!

And of course the shoes. I think they tell so much about a person.

If this face doesn't melt your heart....well then I don't know what will.

Cade found his shirt to be quite tasty.

At last! A nuk and a daddy snuggle!

Carrie Underwood

So sorry that I didn't get to post this morning. Keegan has had a rough day. :(

But I had a fabulous night last night at the Carrie Underwood concert. My hubby bought me tickets for my birthday gift and I had been counting down the days ever since. She was amazing and it was sooooo nice to go on a date with my main squeeze.

This is a photo from another time she performed. Wish I could take the credit for it but I cannot.

Lea & Brian {engaged}

Lea and Brian will be getting married this coming summer and we are so excited to shoot their wedding. They are just one of those couples that from the second you meet them you feel like you've always been friends with them. They are warm, genuine and hopelessly in love with one another.

Lea and Brian thanks so much for asking us to capture this special time in your lives. And thank you for braving the 50 degree weather in your short sleeves for this shoot. ;)

I will start out this post where it all started for Lea & Brian. Their first date was at Brookside By Day. I don't know why but I think that there is something so sweet about a breakfast date.

Lea has the most amazing eyes. I can't wait to see her as a bride!

So, if I didn't change my mind every 30 seconds about what I like and dislike I would definitely have a tatoo on my foot. I guess I will have to live vicariously through Lea on this one.

3 Handsome Men

When getting ready to do this session I had no idea that I should have worn my sneakers. Freddy's adorable (Will they be mad at me if I call them adorable?) boys Jordan and Evyn are 11 and 7 years old and we did their session in a park with lots of places for them to explore and run. I must admit that I had a blast but I was quite winded after the whole experience.

I had such a great time doing this session. Thanks guys for inviting me to play in the park! Freddy, it was so amazing to see you interact with your boys and watch how they truly admire their dad. In fact, the most memorable line that Jordan said during the session was: "My dad is freakin awesome!"

I hope you enjoy your pics..

This next one was actually the first shot of the day. I absolutely love it because it is such a great image of brothers. Big brother races to the top of the rock and looks back to see his little bro making the climb.

My husband Nathan can't wait to be able to play with Keegan. These next pics are the kind that I will frame in my house.

See what I mean? These kids are ADORABLE!

I had to post both of these shots. One for the more traditional audience and for all of you like me who prefer the second one. :)

I LOVE sleep!!!!

I don't know if this is a fluke so, I am trying not to get too excited or too used to it. This past week Keegan started to sleep 7 to 8 hours at a time at night! Hallelujah!! Now if I could only get myself into bed at the same time he falls asleep I would be free from the permanent bags under my eyes.

I will post some pretty pictures later on in the day.

The Dewey Family

Followers of my old blog might remember this stunning couple from their summer wedding. Jessie, Lee and Elijah are the hottest family in town! I had such a blast shooting this session. It was extra fun for me because little Eli reminds me so much of my own little man.

Lee and Jessie, you guys are so sweet and you seriously have such a beautiful family. God is so evident in the love that you have for each other and for Eli.

What a great location for the Deweys...Dewey Ave.

I want a picture like this of my family someday.

This next one is probably one of my favorites because I know how sweet it is to have your baby nestle his head onto your shoulder.

I had to post this one because it is so telling of Eli at this age. "I have fingers so, I put them in my mouth."

Who do you think Eli looks like more? Mommy or Daddy?

I think Daddy wins for now....
