josh+karen {the wedding}
Wednesday, June 1, 2011 at 2:04PM I am absolutely delighted to share with you all of the weddings and engagement shoots that I have been shooting in the last week and a half. I will start out by sharing the beautifully simple wedding of Josh and Karen. They were married at Camp Loughridge in Tulsa. The day was full of romance and rain so we had to plan accordingly for photos. Everyone's prayers sent the rain away just in time for us to do a few outdoor shots. I am telling you, the evidence of God's love was all around the entire day. Congratulations Josh and Karen. Thank you so much for inviting me into your lives on this very special day. It was such an honor.
Robyn's Flower Garden did a fabulous job on the flowers. This is one of my all time favorite bouquets.
The first look was so very sweet. They were so happy and at ease to see one another. I can honestly say that they both bring out the very best in one another.

And this one is Jessie's. (Shot at the exact same moment.) This is just one of the reasons I love having two photographers.
Karen, your dress looked like it was made just for you. You were such a stunning bride!
This next shot was obviously not posed or intentional but I just love how it captures a sweet little moment between Josh and Karen.
This bouquet seriously rocked my world. I love that it is so soft and romantic. I think it fits Karen's personality perfectly.
Josh was looking pretty handsome too.
When I told Karen's Mom to come over for a photo, this is what happened. So very real, so very sweet.

It didn't matter if we got Karen's dress a little wet or dirty after the ceremony so we ventured out for a couple more bride and groom shots.
