i still love you

Dear blog world,

I still love you. I felt like I needed to say that. Right at this moment in time, my main priorities have been in other areas. I am okay with that. I have been spending lots of quality time with my family, working on some other business goals and doing lots of creative things unrelated to photography rather than worrying so much about daily blog posts. I truly feel that stretching my creative muscles in other areas makes me a better photographer and it makes me a better person. So that is where my main focus is at this time before wedding season kicks in and I won't have the time. I appreciate all of you blog readers so much and I feel ilke we are family. Just know that I have not forgotten about you or purposefully neglected you. I will still be posting here but only once or twice a week for now.

In my creative endeavors, I have been working on some props for shoots and accessories for my boudoir photos.

Here is a birdcage veil that I recently made. I have a love hate relationship with this headpiece because in the process of making it, I burnt my hand in a major way with my hot glue gun. Looks like I will be buying a new low temp gun so that I don't do it again. ;) After looking at the photos from this week's shoot I think the burns were worth it.
