ready for fall
Saturday, August 28, 2010 at 8:26AM The word excited is an understatement. I am absolutely elated that fall is on its way. Remember that I am from Michigan, and these Oklahoma summers are far too hot and humid for me. I love absolutely everything about fall......the cool crisp morning air, the changing colors on the trees, the food and of course the clothes. I am a jeans, boots and cardigan sweater kind of a gal. Every year as soon as the summer temps start to cool off I start a knitting project, I make white chicken chili and I get this deep creative surge of inspiration.
I am curious to know what my readers think about seasons. Which one is your favorite and why?

My favorite season would have to be spring. The reason this is is because winter is finaly over and the flowers start to bloom. Also all the trees are getting there color back.
Fall is definitely my favorite as well. So many fun things - football games, pumpkin patches, the fair, changing leaves, great comfort food, and pumpkin spice lattes.
Um ... totally, 100%, most definitely FALL!
Well sis, I'm with you....fall has ALWAYS been my favorite! Halloween, Back to School, visits to apple orchards, pumpkin and apple recipes, football, the smell of burning leaves, and cooler weather! I don't like the heat and humidity either!! Plus both of my girls' birthdays are in fall-what could be better?
definitely summertime.
The bright sunshine everyday with the occasional rainstorm to keep it fresh, going out on the lake to wakeboard on the weekends, roadtrips with friends blaring music all the way, getting a nice summer glow, sundresses and flats everyday with a pair of ray-bans... nothing tops summer for me.
Fall!! TU football is back, making L her Halloween costumes, cold mornings, and setting the slow cooker for awesome soups! I'm so ready for summer to be over!
I have to say that I have always loved the spring; the earth is renewing itself - flowers are blooming again, birds are singing, new life! But, I also love the fall. Time for sweaters, raking leaves, watching the leaves turn beautiful colors, apple cider donuts (yum), and the smell of burning leaves. Fall just is so beautiful and it has it's own special smell! So I guess for me, it is a toss up. I have two favorite
seasons :o)
I'm with you. There is just something about fall that gets the creative juices going. Whether it be in the kitchen or in the garage working on a new project. I also love sweater and jean weather. Cannot wait for fall this year!
