Thursday, July 22, 2010 at 7:25AM So as you know, I went to Michigan last weekend to shoot a wedding. It was supposed to be just me that took the trip but several days before I left, we couldn't stand the idea of being apart for 5 days. We bought a last minute plane ticket for Nathan and Keegan to join me. Did I mention that we really need new tires on my car? Yes, we could have spent the money on that but then we wouldn't have the priceless memories of the time we spent together as a family in Grand Rapids, Michigan.
Grand Rapids is the place where Nathan and I met, fell in love, got married and spent the first year of our marriage. We made lifelong friendships there. And with all of those things came lots and lots of amazing memories.
On Friday July 16th, we celebrated our 5 year anniversary in the city that we fell in love. I was so naive 5 years ago. I had no idea the depth of love I would have for my husband that I have today. A love like ours is truly a gift from heaven.
I love you Nathan Phillilps and I can't wait to share the rest of our lives together making memories.

Happy Anniversary! You're sweater is too cute! Also, our husbands have the same name, and when I read that you love Nathan Phillips I had to think about it for a second, hey is she talking about my Nathan Phillips? Haha, just kidding I knew you weren't but it did give me a double take.
