my boot scootin birthday
Wednesday, October 20, 2010 at 8:57AM I cannot even begin to tell you what a wonderful birthday I had this year. My amazingly wonderful friend Loren threw me a little country style birthday dinner party at her house. I am so blessed to be able to call her my friend. Only one year ago she was just my wonderful bride and I was in her backyard photographing her wedding. We teamed up early this year when she began doing hair and makeup for my boudoir sessions and since that time a beautiful friendship has entered my life. We have so much in common that we showed up at the party wearing the exact same shirt. ;) Will you just look at the amazing set up she conjured up in her backyard. I cried when I saw it because no one had ever done anything that creatively unique and beautiful for me.
My dear friends Nichole and Jessie (also an imago vita photographer) along with their hubbies shared the evening with little 29 year old me. I have to admit that I am so rich. I am surrounded by the most amazing people on a daily basis. Thank you my friends for sharing this special occasion with me. It was an honor.
I brought along a hot cowboy for my date. He's the guy in the blue and the keeper of my heart.

Looks like you had a great time at your party honey! You are truly blessed with good friends that love you. I love all the pics but I think my favorite is the one of "You & the Bottle" - you have such a twinkle in your eye. You are so beautiful inside and out and you deserved this awesome party. This next year will be the best yet for you, Nathan, & Keegs! And of course all of your good friends.

Shannon, this is adorable! You should send some of these photos to Green Wedding Shoes. Every now and then they have showers and parties featured on their wedding blog.
