keri+brent {the wedding}
Thursday, June 25, 2009 at 9:30AM Keri and Brent had the most beautiful wedding in McAlester Oklahoma. Their wedding was in her parent's breathtaking backyard. The entire time that I was there shooting I felt like I was on the set of a movie. It was just perfect and full of well thought out details. Not to mention that Keri and Brent were two of the sweetest people you'll ever meet.
Keri and Brent congratulations! We were truly blessed to get to get to know you during this time. It was a pleasure to record snapshots of your magical wedding day.
Onto the pretties!

Okay, have you ever seen such a glowing, beautiful and happy bride?

Loving this shot.

Brent was calm and cool while waiting for the ceremony.

Hey, who's driving this thing? I think he decided to take matters into his own hands.

Brent seeing his beautiful bride for the first time. He made me cry.

No detail was overlooked. The programs were fans which came in very handy on this very sticky ninety-something degree day. And my favorite little detail was the hundreds of votive candles hanging from all of the trees.

Here we see a fan getting some good use.

Instead of doing a unity candle, Keri and Brent planted a sapling.

A gift from Keri's family to Brent.

Keri's mom had this beautiful garden that we just had to sneek into to take a few shots before the reception.

Details, details, details.

I wish that this next shot could truly show how magical all of the hanging candles made it look. It felt like a fairy tale.

Frosting war.

By the end of the day, the two love birds were ready to get into some comfy and cooler clothes to make their exit.
See ya!

Just an FYI : 200 of the lights came from our grandson, the little red headed ringbearer in the wagon. They were his babyfood jars that I cleaned up and we made hangers out of yellow rafia. So even little Hunter did his part.
I think this is the most beautful wedding that you have ever done! The bride is so gorgeous and the groom is just as handsome. I love the originality of the whole wedding: the backyard, the gardens, the flowers, the candle jars, the fans, everything!
The bride's dress was one of the prettiest gowns that I have ever seen and I loved the bridesmaids dresses - they were so original. Everything just fell together perfectly. You captured their day better than any photos I have ever seen you take before. I felt like I was right there at this wedding. Your talent is truly a gift from God and you continue to amaze me with each posting.
Love,
Your Momma
What a beautiful wedding! I LOVE outdoor weddings. Gorgeous dress too! Perfect job capturing it all!
Holy macaroni! (if there were such a thing)... STUNNING!!!!
The whole wedding looked like it was taken right out of a magazine or one of those photography coffee table books...
I LOVED IT! The yellow, the lanterns, the older fella fanning himself, the photo of the proud momma cupping her newly wedded son's face in her hands... beaming with pride! I got a lump in my throat as I scrolled through the photos. THAT is what a wedding should be like!
Shan, you have outdone yourself this time. I am so proud of you and amazed (just like your momma) at the work you produce.
You are the BEST, and I love you friend!!!! :)
"Objectively" yours, Nic ;P
Wow, Shannon! Thank you so much! We absolutely love them and it's all because of your amazing gift from God! We can't wait to see the rest! You and your husband are so sweet and talented. We've thoroughly enjoyed getting to know you both!
