claire+matt {atlanta engagement}
Tuesday, May 19, 2009 at 3:26PM I met Claire and Matt for the first time when I shot Claire's brother Ethan's wedding last December. We had originally planned on doing their engagement session when they were here in Tulsa for Ethan and Tiffany's wedding but the weather majorly cramped our style so we decided against it. I was so excited to call and tell Claire that we were making the trip down to ATL and would be able to do their session where they live.
I had a blast in this brand new city searching for the perfect spots to take photos. Claire and Matt, I had so much fun with you guys and really enjoyed seeing where you live. You truly are a beautiful couple inside and out. I cannot wait for your wedding in June!
...and now on to the hot couple!
Claire has the coolest eyes.

Love them! I really like the field ones, it makes me excited to one day fit into non-maternity clothes again so you can take some of me and Chris! Of course, that would mean it would actually be a nice day instead of tornadic rains!

I was soooo super nervous to see these (we talked about how I'm a pretty tough Claire critic) and I'm happy to say that I actually love most of them! No fault of yours obviously! I mean, I have an awkward moment here and there, but I really love the shots where we look natural. Matt and I were SO happy you were able to make it all the way to ATL to shoot us in OUR shared environment. These will mean a lot to us forever and ever bc this is where we started on our own! I guess it's kind of a good thing that you live in Oklahoma bc I think I could get addicted to having you take our pictures. I can't wait until the wedding! I promise I will perform better then!
Oh my goodness-you are phenomenal! Please do me a favor and submit the forest pictures to some sort of magazine! Whether it be a photography magazine, bridal, Glamour, WHATEVER, you have a superstar career ahead of you! Your pictures are better than most I see in print out there! Get aggressive, girl!
