loren+cw {the wedding}
Monday, October 26, 2009 at 2:38PM I know that I always talk about how sweet and wonderful my brides and grooms are on my blog and I just want you all to know that they REALLY are! I don't just say things to be nice. I mean them from the bottom of my heart. I have had the opportunity in my photography profession to work with some of the most kind and amazing people I could ever imagine. I am so blessed to do what I love and to work with such great people. I know that I say this a lot too, but it IS an honor and a privilege.
Loren and CW got married last Saturday the 17th in their beautiful backyard. They are two of the sweetest people you will ever meet. Fully alive, completeley in love and just plain fun to be around. Their wedding was perfect in every way. No detail was overlooked because Loren has impecible taste. Loren and CW, it was such a blast photographing your special day. Thank you for making us feel right at home and for allowing us to share in telling your beautiful love story.
The flowers were done by Anne-Marie at the French Bouquet european floral design. Loren's makeup was done by Destiny Davis from the Glamour Palette (918-504-4291). The cake was from Mallory's Mud pies. The music was from non other than the DJ Connection. If you are planning an event of any kind, I would highly recommend any of these over the top vendors.
Loren and CW did a first glance before their ceremony. It was magical. I highly recommend doing the first glance to anyone who is planning a wedding. It really makes a special private moment and allows for so much more time doing special bride and groom photos. It takes so much stress off of everyone so that they can just enjoy the wedding itself.

I saw this red chair in Loren's living room and threw it over my shoulder and brought it on outside. It was screaming at me for some picture lovin'.

Yes, it is true that I cry just a bit during wedding ceremonies while I am hiding behind my camera. Later on, one of Loren and CW's guests told me that they saw me crying and that they thought it was so sweet. Dang..busted!
The evening light was falling behind the trees as they exchanged vows. Perfect...just perfect.
We had a few minutes to spare while the guests watched a video of the newlyweds so, we snuck in a few more photos.
The fact that everyone is smiling and having a good time in this next shot is proof that these are some amazing people! It was like 40 degrees in that tent. Burrr.
A little booty shaking helps to keep warm.

You are the wedding rockstar! All your work is great, but your weddings stand out the most to me. The bride is so stunning - there is a edgy vintage feel to her dress and veil - I love it. Great job Shannon!
