becky+aj {the wedding}
Tuesday, October 13, 2009 at 7:30AM I am not sure how in the world I ended up getting so lucky as to have 3 outdoor backyard weddings this month but I did. Needless to say, outdoor weddings are the best if you are willing to risk the Oklahoma weather doing something crazy. In my opinion, even better than outdoor weddings are backyard weddings. They are laid back, simple and beautiful. I guess I am just a backyard hanging with family and friends kind of a girl.
Becky and AJ were wed in the backyard of Becky's parents beautiful home. It was no exception to the rule. Simple, beautiful and so heartfelt. Congratulations guys, we were so happy that you invited us to capture your day. You are perfect for one another and the love that you have for one another is such a blessing.
They did a first glance so that we would have plenty of time and light to do pictures. I am so very glad that they did!
Nathan took this next shot and it is one of my faves of the day.

The day was just perfect. Brisk, overcast Oklahoma fall. Aj and Becky live in Tucson so they must have been a little chilly.
I wish I could bring these old oil containers to every wedding.
There was so much love in this place. It was everywhere.
The ceremony was just moments before sunset. The beginning of the reception looked like this.

What a gorgeous, gorgeous, wedding! The bride and groom are such a beautiful couple, they elude LOVE! I loved the Bride's dress, it was beautiful, just like she is.........The pic of the bride and her bridesmaids was really nice. I loved all the pics. I couldn't pick a favorite if I had to. What a beautiful family - love everywhere! This was one of your best weddings Shan, wish I had been there.
