karen + mike {the wedding}

The K wedding was held on a perfect sunny January day at Post Oak Lodge. This was the fist time that I had been to this venue and I instantly fell in love with it.

Mike and Karen, I hope that you enjoyed your wedding as much as your smiles told us. Thank you so much for inviting me to be a part of your special day. It was truly an honor to capture your love. I was blown away by all of the beautiful friendships that were so evident in your lives.

The beautiful bride.

I love this next shot of the guest book because one of the guests wrote a little piece of marriage advice. "Never go to bed angry."

This part of the ceremony was so sweet. Karen gave gifts to the members of Mike's family.

A photographer's dream: an indoor wedding with lots of natural light! There were skylights above the bride and groom.

Karen and Mike wrote their own vows and they were AMAZING! Yep, you guessed it: I was crying while getting this next shot.

Oh for the love of SUGAR! Every table had a different cake. Genius!

There were lots of hugs to be had.

Man, are they in love or what! Beautiful photos as usual. I LOVED the black and white newspapery photo of the bride looking straight at the camera with her new groom looking off in a different direction... what a great looking duo. Nice job! :)
